A Small Church Community is....
a group of parishioners (between 6 and 10 is the best size) who meet using resource materials and suggestions offered by the St. John Fisher Parish staff. One of the main goals of a SCC is to help each other connect our fatih with our everyday life.
Members pray for one another, care for one another and develop relationships with other friends in faith.
Groups meet as often as they agree on. Ideally, twice per month. Each meeting lasts between one and two hours. Time for socializing and getting to know one another is always part of the gathering. Groups decide if they want to meet in members' homes, a parish space, or other agreed upon location such as a coffee shop or restaurant.
Groups are formed according to the best time for you to meet.
Groups can also be formed among friends, relatives, neighbors or people sharing something else in common.
