Children are prepared in the Autumn to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. This sacrament is usually celebrated during the Advent Communal Penance Service in December. In the later winter months, children begin their preparation to receive Holy Communion for the first time. 
Experienced catechists prepare the children for both sacraments. At the end of their preparation for 1st Communion, the students and their families participate in a "1st Communion Retreat Day."

Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:45 am, beginning with a Meet the Teacher/Parent meeting on Sunday, September 29 at 9:30 am.  A full schedule is below.

To sign up, please read the handbook and complete the three forms (registration part 1 & part 2, and the permission form), all of which are available by clicking the links below.  Both forms and the $135 per child payment must be received in the parish office by Monday, September 16th.  After September 16th the fee will increase to $145.
